Richard Shepard is currently directing the pilot episode of an untitled spinoff of CBS’s hit series Criminal Minds featuring a team of profilers working outside the FBI bureaucracy.  Back in 2005, Shepard directed the pilot of the original Criminal Minds, currently in its fifth season.  The new series will star Forest Whitaker, Matt Ryan, Michael Kelly, and Beau Garrett.  Chris Mundy and Ed Bernero, writer/producers on Minds, wrote the backdoor pilot and it will air as an episode of the original show.  Shepard is also signed to direct a second,...

Since its debut at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival, I KNEW IT WAS YOU has gone on to play many more prestigious festivals, including Aspen Shortsfest, the Boston Film Festival, and the Worldwide Short Film Festival.  It makes its European premiere at the International Rome Film Festival on October 22nd.
